PROJECT ABSTRACTS

Project I.

The IT department has relied for the last 6-7 years on an excel file to track their inventory. This method was effective as the company was small with barely 45-50 employees. But with recent business growth, with staff members between 150-170, using a spreadsheet is no longer practical and accurate. The IT department needs to have all their existing data uploaded into Salesforce (not to track inventory). As a brand-new Admin (new hire), the IT Vice President has requested you to attend to a discovery meeting and assigned you to lead this implementation.

The Finance team was also invited to attend as they have requirements for this project. Their goal is to be able to track the life cycle of each item so the amortization can be reported accurately in the company’s financial statements and reports.

100% of the requirements are provided, and all step by step as well.

Project II.

STRATEGY: Pre-Build a custom APP for your local public library. The goal is by the time you are ready to talk to the library staff; you have a demo to display your progress. After the completion of PHASE I – A & B, introduce yourself and ask the library staff members that you would like to talk to the shift supervisor or to the library manager about your professional project that you are working on.

50% of the requirements are provided, and you will gather and build the other 50% to complete this project.

Project III.

In this project, you will be the architect building a small business from the ground up 100%. For the most part, all the topics and concepts of the ADM 201 certification can be applied. This is the perfect opportunity to discover any knowledge weak areas and enforce it. You have the freedom to decide what tasks are going to take place on each phase, and how many phases are needed to complete this project. Also, you can decide what project management method(s) will be utilized. Would it be Water Fall or Agile? Scrum or Kanban? Scrumban maybe?

NOTE: This project will be released until Projects I ,and II are completed due to its complexity.
